With premium lodges, luxury caravans, and exclusive hot tub retreats offering a more elevated experience, Parkdean Resorts is evolving to meet the growing demand for adult getaways, with a focus on relaxation, stunning locations, and divine dining.

For those wanting to remain active or enjoy some good-natured rivalry, adults can plunge into invigorating water fitness sessions, 70s-soundtrack yoga, and archery, or relax with line dancing, interactive darts, pool tournaments, lane swimming and guided local walks.

Back at Parkdean, four-day midweek escapes begin from just £109 for a caravan accommodating up to 3 guests – that works out at £9 per person, per night. Three of the most sought-after Parkdean getaways for adult staycations feature:

Fallbarrow Holiday Park, Lake District

Fallbarrow Holiday Park sits on the banks of Lake Windermere and consistently ranks among Parkdean Resorts’ top destinations for grown-ups and couples. It specialises in delivering a more tranquil, picturesque getaway rather than conventional arcade-style fun.

The park nestles within private woodland that stretches down to the waterfront and features exclusive jetties. It offers a serene setting for pursuits like dawn yoga sessions or venturing into the surrounding Cumbrian hills.

Visitors can embark on boat trips from neighbouring departure points to soak up vistas across England’s most expansive lake. The town of Bowness-on-Windermere lies within easy walking distance and boasts an array of shops, pubs and eateries.

Sea Acres Holiday Park, Cornwall

Delivering wild coastal experiences and sweeping ocean panoramas, Sea Acres Holiday Park provides a secluded retreat for those seeking to escape the daily grind. It creates the perfect backdrop for reconnecting with nature in a striking seaside setting.

The park stretches along Cornwall’s breathtaking coastline, making it perfect for idyllic strolls and outdoor unwinding. The nearby Kennack Sands lies just a brief walk away, providing convenient access to beaches and coastal beauty.

Visitors can utilise the on-site restaurant and bar for meals and beverages. The surrounding region also features authentic Cornish fishing communities with welcoming pubs and fresh local seafood.

Warmwell Holiday Park, Dorset

Warmwell Holiday Park sits nestled in Dorset and provides a lodge-exclusive resort experience. It’s crafted as an energetic countryside retreat with a more upmarket atmosphere – picture serene woodland bliss beside the water.

The site is nestled within quiet woodlands where roe deer frequently wander near the accommodation. It lies within a 30-minute journey from the Jurassic Coast, featuring the famous Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.

Visitors can take advantage of various on-site pursuits, including angling, archery and a 110-metre dry ski slope. These amenities serve guests seeking both peaceful moments and more energetic adventures.

The award-winning holiday firm has introduced all-inclusive deals across 45 holiday parks throughout the UK. This combines lodging, three daily table-service meals, and unlimited hot and soft beverages (including Costa Coffee) to streamline getaways and boost value.

Rates begin at approximately £25 per adult per night (and £10 for children on selected midweek breaks). A family of four is capable of securing a complete food-and-accommodation holiday from under £400 – cutting over £300 versus booking individually.

Holiday-goers who have previously enjoyed an adult-only break with Parkdean have posted their thoughts on TripAdvisor. A group of four adults who visited Warmwell posted a four-star review and said: “Overall a lovely setting and the lodge was super clean and luxurious, and the park itself very clean…Also the perfect location to explore Dorset.”

Another guest who stayed at Sea Acres commented: “Nice, quiet, friendly, well-run and well-situated site. Good sea views. Near the beach. Good quality bar and restaurant and a good crowd for the Bingo. Also an adults-only pool session.”

Not all visitors were entirely bowled over though, with one couple remarking: “The bar prices were very expensive at £6 a pint and the restaurant closed at 10pm.”

That said, a delighted guest at Farrowball Park went so far as to brand it “the best Parkdean park in the Lake District” while another noted: “Stayed here a couple of times now and we’ve booked for next year. The staff are lovely. Food at the bar is amazing. Highly recommend.”
