The incident took place on Church Road in Netherton at 2.25pm on April 20, when a parcel was stolen from inside the property.
West Midlands Police believe the woman may be able to help with their investigation.
A spokesman for the force said: “Officers have been carrying out enquiries including CCTV trawls since the incident took place but have been unable to identify the woman.”
