On Day 6 of its theatrical run, Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla has collected a net of ₹2.23 crore by 4 pm, box office data-tracking platform Sacnilk claimed. It is now the fourth highest-grossing Hindi movie domestically, having managed ₹82.65 crore in its first five days.
The highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2026 in India (net collection) include Dhurandhar 2 leading with ₹1,141 crore, followed by Border 2 with ₹362.76 crore. O’Romeo has collected ₹83.35 crore, while Bhooth Bangla has earned ₹82.65 crore in five days. Mardaani 3 has recorded a collection of ₹52.99 crore.
On the day of its release, Bhooth Bangla’s collection stood at ₹12.25 crore. Reports said that on Day 5, the Priyadarshan movie recorded a 13.3% growth from Day 4’s net collection of ₹6.75 crore. Sacnilk also clarified that the horror-comedy collected ₹2.50 crore overseas on Day 5, taking its total international gross to ₹31.50 crore so far. This pushed the worldwide gross collection to ₹118.12 crore, the website said.
Bhooth Bangla marks the reunion of Akshay Kumar and the popular filmmaker Priyadarshan, who primarily works in the Malayalam film industry. This reunion factor is among the elements carrying the movie amidst the presence of the Dhurandhar 2 juggernaut. The film has sustained audience interest beyond the weekend and is not a total washout, keeping it on course to be a “hit” or “success” if the following weekdays remain stable.
