Republic TV Tops English News OTS at 94.44%; Times Now Navbharat Leads Hindi: Chrome DM Report


Mumbai: Chrome DM has released its latest Opportunity to See (OTS) report for Week 30’26 (July 25–31), highlighting channel availability across Hindi and English news broadcasters. The report provides insights into channel distribution and accessibility across television households in India, offering a snapshot of market reach for broadcasters and advertisers.

According to the report, Times Now Navbharat led the Hindi news segment with an OTS of 98.41%, closely followed by Zee News at 98.40% and Aaj Tak at 98.02%. News18 India recorded an OTS of 96.32%, while ABP News stood at 96.07%.

The findings indicate that the leading Hindi news channels continue to maintain extensive distribution across television households, ensuring high levels of accessibility for viewers nationwide.


In the English news category, Republic TV emerged as the most widely available channel with an OTS of 94.44%. It was followed by RT News at 81.61%, CNN News18 at 76.60%, India Today at 71.30%, and Mirror Now at 64.70%.

Chrome DM said the report focuses specifically on channel distribution and availability, providing broadcasters, advertisers and distribution partners with insights into market presence and opportunities for expansion.

According to Chrome DM, the OTS metric represents the percentage of connectivity (availability) of a channel across TV households, factoring in the off-take of channel packages across all reported distribution platforms in India. The data is intended to help stakeholders assess distribution performance and strengthen network planning strategies.
