Reshuffle on Executive Board – Bithell back to Environment

The Leader of Wrexham Council, Councillor Mark Pritchard, has today announced changes to Lead Member portfolios with immediate effect.

He says the move is “part of the council’s ongoing commitment to delivering services across the council:

The changes are:

Councillor John Pritchard will move to the Corporate Services portfolio.

Councillor Beverley Parry-Jones will take on responsibility for Adult Social Care.

Councillor Terry Evans will take responsibility for the Housing portfolio.

Councillor David A Bithell will assume responsibility for the Environment portfolio.

Councillor Pritchard said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Lead Members who are taking on new responsibilities. I’d like to say a big thank you for all of their hard work, commitment and dedication in their previous roles, and I know they will move forward in their new roles with the same dedication and commitment.

“I’d also like to thank the other Lead Members who will retain their existing portfolios for their continued hard work and commitment in their areas of responsibility.”

A report confirming details – and the council’s Champion roles – will be presented to the council’s Executive Board for information in June.
