In a recent interaction with Filmygyan, Karan Deol—Sunny’s son and a co-star in the film—revealed that the “Tiger 3” star reached out to the Deol family shortly after the film’s release to express his admiration for the work.

“He loves the family so much. He’s just so supportive. He’s always there. His love is very genuine. He’s just an amazing person,” Karan shared. When asked if the Dabangg actor had seen Batwara 1947, Karan confirmed that Salman had personally called the family to share his feedback. “Yes, he called us. He said he liked the film; he liked my father in it,” he added.
