This recruitment initiative aims to bolster the clerical cadre by filling critical backlog positions. The 1,538 vacancies are distributed as follows:

- ST: 1,219 vacancies
- OBC: 112 vacancies
Applicants are permitted to apply for vacancies in only one State or Union Territory (UT), and selected candidates will be posted specifically within that region.
Eligibility Criteria

Selection Process
The selection process is structured into three stages:
- Preliminary Examination: A 100-mark test covering English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning, tentatively scheduled for September 2026.
- Main Examination: Shortlisted candidates will sit for a 200-mark paper consisting of 190 questions. The final merit list will be determined solely by the performance in this exam.
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT): Where applicable, candidates will be tested on their knowledge of the local language.
