The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially commenced its recruitment drive for Trade Finance Officers, seeking experienced professionals to join its International Banking Group (IBG) under the Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO) category. Vacancy Breakdown

Eligibility and Certification Requirements
To qualify, candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized institution. Additionally, all applicants must possess a Certification in Forex Operations from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF), dated on or before July 31, 2026.
Experience Criteria:
- JMGS-I: Minimum of one year of post-qualification experience in Trade Finance processing/operations in a scheduled commercial bank (Maker experience preferred).
- MMGS-II: Minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in Trade Finance processing in a scheduled commercial bank.
Preference will be given to candidates holding globally recognized certifications, such as CDCS, CSDG, CTFP, or GTC from institutions like the LIBF or ICC Academy.
Salary and Benefits
The positions offer highly competitive compensation packages:
- JMGS-I: Pay scale of ₹48,480 to ₹85,920.
- MMGS-II: Pay scale of ₹64,820 to ₹93,960.

Roles and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be integral to the bank’s International Banking operations. JMGS-I officers typically perform “Maker” duties, including data entry and document verification. MMGS-II officers will serve as “Checkers,” responsible for transaction oversight, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) screening, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
