Uninvited Guests at Mannat: Snake Sighting Causes Stir at Shah Rukh Khan’s Iconic Residence
Mumbai, India – Shah Rukh Khan’s renowned Mumbai residence, Mannat, became the unexpected center of attention on August 17th after two snakes were spotted slithering on its expansive lawn. The unusual incident prompted an immediate call to a professional rescue team, leading to a late-night operation at the Bollywood superstar’s iconic home.
Reports indicate that a snake rescuer received an urgent call around 8 PM, informing them of the reptilian presence within the high-profile property. A swift search operation was initiated, resulting in the successful rescue of one of the snakes. The rescued reptile, identified as an eight-foot-long Indian rat snake, also known as a Dhaman, was discovered concealed beneath a ladder within the bungalow’s sprawling premises. Fortunately, the Dhaman is a non-venomous species, a fact that reportedly brought considerable relief to the security guards and staff at Mannat once it was confirmed.
However, the rescue efforts were not entirely complete. The second snake, elusive and perhaps startled by the increased activity, managed to evade capture. Despite continued searching well into the evening, the second reptile could not be located, leaving its whereabouts unknown.
Mannat Land’s End, as it is officially known, is a landmark in itself, situated in Bandra’s exclusive Bandstand area. This sea-facing bungalow has transcended its status as a mere residence, becoming a pilgrimage site for fans who frequently gather outside, hoping for a glimpse of their idol. The unexpected serpentine visitors have now added another intriguing chapter to the history of this celebrated address.
