Police have been called after a man was reportedly smashing windows and vomiting in the street in a Cornish town.
A window was smashed at a tile and bathroom company in Bodmin at around 10am yesterday (Thursday, May 21). Police were called to The Tile & Bathroom Shop, in the Town End area.
A witness reported one male was smashing windows, vomiting in the street and hallucinating and urged members of the public to stay away from the area. The male was arrested at the scene.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “We were called at around 10.10am on Thursday 21 May following a report of a male having smashed a shop window in the Town End area of Bodmin.
“Officers attended and arrested an 18-year-old local man on suspicion of criminal damage. He remains in police custody at this time.”
