Tottenham Hotspur have announced their retained list with Yves Bissouma set to leave the club at the end of this month
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Yves Bissouma will leave them this summer, as the club announces its retained list. Spurs will already be preparing for next season after they avoided relegation from the Premier League on the final day of the campaign last month.
In a post via the club’s social media account, Tottenham sent a message of appreciation to Bissouma.
“We can confirm the departure of Yves Bissouma following the conclusion of his contract,” the post on X, formerly known as Twitter, read.
“Thank you for your service and all the best for the future, Biss.”
The Mali international joined Spurs from Brighton in the summer of 2022 for £30million, with the midfielder going on to make 111 appearances for the club during his time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, a combination of a knee and ankle injuries stopped Bissouma from featuring for Spurs across the entire first half of last season, and he was forced to wait until January 17 to make his first appearance of the campaign, which ended in a 2-1 defeat to West Ham.
Bissouma went on to feature just 11 times for Tottenham across the rest of the season, and was an unused substitute in the final three Premier League matches of the campaign.
Elsewhere, Tottenham went on to confirm that 10 players from their academy will also be leaving the club this summer.
Under-21 players Pele Arganese-McDermott, Tyrell Ashcroft, Leo Black, Dante Cassanova, Matthew Craig and Calum Logan will all leave North London this summer when their current deals with the club come to an end.

Spurs have already strengthened their defence with Andy Robertson arriving on a free transfer following his departure from Liverpool.
AFC Bournemouth defender Marco Senesi is also expected to join Tottenham this summer as a free agent when his deal with the Cherries comes to an end.
Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke and Manchester City forward Savinho are also targets for Spurs this summer.
