Two more people have been charged with attempted murder following an attack in Rhyl. Rachel Marie Grant and Ben Ward were due to appear in court today (Friday).
It follows an incident on Bath Street, last week, as police continue to appeal for witnesses. Officers, paramedics and an air ambulance were called following reports of a serious assault and a cordon was put in place.
A North Wales Police Denbighshire Coastal and Abergele statement said: “Two more people have been charged in relation to an assault which occurred in Bath Street, Rhyl on Wednesday 23rd July.
“Thirty-six-year-old Rachel Marie Grant of Rhyl and Ben Ward (36), also of Rhyl have been charged with attempted murder and will appear in court today.
“Earlier this week, 32-year-old Gareth Marc Griffith of Rhyl and a 17 year old male who cannot be named for legal reasons were also charged with attempted murder in relation to the same incident.
“Three other people remain on police bail having been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender
“As part of our enquiries into the circumstances surrounding this incident, detectives want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information that may help.
