A man has been charged with fraud in connection to a Cardiff crash that claimed the lives of three young people. Passengers Darcy Ross and Eve Smith, both 21, and driver Rafel Jeanne, 24, died after the Volkswagen Tiguan they were travelling in crashed at 2.03am on Saturday, March 4, 2023, in woodland in St Mellons. Two others were seriously injured.

Neil Lewis, aged 47, from Ely, has now been charged with fraud by false representation “in relation to an MOT for the vehicle”. He is due to appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on July 21. Full story here.
