Haryana Board Releases Admit Cards for Prestigious School Selection Exam 2026

Bhiwani, Haryana – The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has officially released the admit cards for the highly anticipated 2026 written examination. This crucial exam is designed for the selection of dedicated teachers and qualified school heads to serve in the esteemed Government Model Sanskriti, PM Shri, Chief Minister Excellence, and Elementary English Schools across the state.

The admit cards were made available for download on the Board’s official website starting August 18, 2026. Aspiring candidates are urged to retrieve their hall tickets promptly to avoid any last-minute complications. The written examination is scheduled to take place on August 22, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.

A significant number of candidates, approximately 21,096, are expected to appear for the examination. To accommodate this large pool, the HBSE has established 69 examination centers at the Commissionerate level, ensuring accessibility and smooth conduct of the test.

How to Download Your Admit Card:

Candidates can easily download their admit cards from the official HBSE website. The process requires candidates to enter their unique Employee ID and registered mobile number. It is imperative that all candidates meticulously read and adhere to the instructions printed on their admit cards to ensure compliance with examination requirements.

Further details regarding the category-wise examination content, specific areas of focus, and design-related information are accessible on the Directorate of Education, Panchkula website, providing valuable resources for preparation.

Examination Pattern and Marking Scheme:

The selection examination will be conducted in an OMR-based pen-and-paper format, featuring multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question will carry one mark, and notably, there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. This structure aims to provide a fair assessment of candidates’ knowledge and abilities. Candidates are also reminded to diligently follow all instructions provided at the examination center and on their admit cards.

Provisions for Differently-Abled Candidates:

The HBSE has made special arrangements to ensure inclusivity for blind, visually impaired, and disabled candidates who require assistance. Those unable to write by hand and wishing to utilize a scribe must present a medical certificate issued by the Chief Medical Officer, confirming a disability of 40% or more.

Furthermore, these candidates must bring original and attested documents of their chosen scribe. These documents include proof of educational qualification, date of birth, two recent passport-size photographs, a photo identity card (or Aadhaar card), and verified permanent or temporary address details.

To facilitate these arrangements, candidates requiring a scribe facility must report to the examination center a day prior to the examination to obtain approval for their scribe from the center superintendent.

Additional Time Allowance:

In a move to further support differently-abled candidates, blind, visually impaired, and disabled individuals will be granted 30 minutes of additional time, irrespective of whether they use a scribe. This extra time will be provided at a rate of 20 minutes per hour of the examination.

Candidates can download the SPL-1 proforma from the HBSE website. It is important to note that the educational qualification of the scribe must not exceed the senior secondary level.

For any queries or assistance, candidates can contact the HBSE helpline at 01664-254305 or send an email to assplexam@bseh.org.in. The Board encourages all candidates to prepare thoroughly and wishes them success in this significant selection process.
