Lando Norris Launches Ambitious ‘LN4 Fusion’ Junior Racing Team

In a move set to reshape the landscape of the junior motorsport ladder, reigning Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris has officially announced the launch of his own racing outfit, LN4 Fusion. The project, unveiled ahead of the Italian Grand Prix, aims to provide a clear, supportive pathway for young drivers to ascend from karting to the pinnacle of motorsport: Formula 1.

A Powerhouse Leadership Team

Norris has prioritized expertise in the formation of his new team, securing a high-profile management group to ensure the outfit hits the ground running. Former Prema stalwart René Rosin has been appointed as Team Principal, bringing with him a wealth of experience in nurturing championship-winning talent.

The executive structure is further bolstered by CEO Dan Richards, while the team’s UK operations will be overseen by Dan Hazlewood. Guillaume Capietto completes the core leadership team, serving as Racing Director.

Strategic Expansion into F3 and F2

LN4 Fusion is wasting no time in establishing its footprint in the paddock. The team has successfully acquired selected assets from AIX Racing, effectively taking over their existing Formula 3 entry. This ensures that LN4 Fusion will be operational and competitive in the F3 championship starting next season.

Looking toward the future, the team has already confirmed its intent to enter the official application process for a Formula 2 entry by 2027, signaling a long-term commitment to the junior categories.

Beyond the Cockpit: The Norris Philosophy

For the reigning world champion, this project is deeply personal. Reflecting on his own career, Norris emphasized that the team is designed to provide the stability and support systems that are often lacking for young drivers.

“I’m a fan of racing. I have been since I was a kid,” Norris said. “As much as I love the driving part, I also love supporting other young drivers. It’s an opportunity to stay connected to racing, be part of something, and help others using my experience and understanding of what it takes to build an incredible racing team.”

Central to the project is the “LN4 Legacy Programme,” which will provide financial and logistical support for rising stars. “It is very important to me because I know how lucky I was to have support from my family in my journey from karting all the way to being a Formula 1 driver,” he added.

A Vision for the Long Term

Rather than a passing interest, Norris views LN4 Fusion as a cornerstone of his post-racing career. By building a structure that can compete with the best teams in the junior categories, he aims to create a “family” environment that he can remain involved with for decades to come.

“We want to build it into something properly for the long term,” Norris stated. “It’s not just a two-year or five-year project. Hopefully, this is much longer. It’s about always having a team that I can support myself, a story that we can create over the years, and a platform to support the next generation of talent.”
