The search was carried out after police detained two suspicious males
Police broke into a secure container before finding a large drugs haul inside. The container was searched after two suspicious males were stopped by officers in Bangor, Gwynedd, on Thursday.
A large quantity of Nitrous Oxide – also known as laughing gas – was found inside the container. Cash was also seized, reports North Wales Live.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “Officers from Rota 1 were out on routine patrol when their attention was drawn to two males acting in suspicious circumstances.
“Their swift action led to the arrest of two males, aged 17 and 20, on suspicion of drug supply offences and burglary.
“Further enquiries took officers to a secure container where a large quantity of Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) and a sum of cash were recovered.
“The images speak for themselves. A significant haul of nitrous oxide off the streets of Bangor – far from a laughing matter!
“A big thank you to the team for their proactive work in helping keep Bangor safe. Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable Bank Holiday weekend!”
