The National Police Air Service helicopter has been circling Bridport town centre this morning, the Echo can confirm.
Local residents have reported that it began focusing its search in the area of South Street and Skilling.
However, the helicopter has no expanded its search radius to include West Street and West Allington, as well as East Street.
One resident said: “It has been there for the past hour and half I would definitely say. It’s been very focused on the town centre, circling it a number of times.
Dorset Police has been contacted for more information.
