After bringing in Rs. 9.50 crores on Monday, the Hindi version of Dhurandhar The Revenge was quite stable on Tuesday as again Rs. 9.50 crores more came in. The film may not be collecting in double digits currently but it would get back in that zone on Saturday and Sunday. Till then, what it’s collecting is also good enough as it’s preparing itself for an entry into the Rs. 1000 Crore Club.
Currently, it stands at Rs. 993 crores, which means now less than Rs. 10 crores remain for Rs. 1000 crores to be crossed by a film in a single language for the first time ever. Though across languages, the Aditya Dhar film has already opened the Rs. 1000 Crore Club, it would be a magnificent feat indeed once it does that in Hindi as well. Basically, the filmmaker is chasing his own records as Dhurandhar had a lifetime of Rs. 896 crores in Hindi and now the second instalment is almost Rs. 100 crores ahead of that already and then collecting some more.
The Ranveer Singh starrer will reach there by tomorrow and then will have one more open week ahead of it before Bhooth Bangla arrives. A lifetime of around Rs. 1100 crores is there for the taking and whatever comes in over and above that would be an added bonus for the film.
