After having acted in Punjabi shows like Tedha Medha Sadda Vedha and Dildaariyan, Pardeep Singh Toor landed in Hindi TV shows including, Tu Juliet Jatt Di, Kumkum Bhagya and Jurm Aur Jazbaat. Currently, he is playing the role of Mangal in Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hai, spin off of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.On being part of Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte HaiHe says, “It feels amazing to be part of the Kyunki… spin-off. I m truly greatful and feel special to be working with Ekta (Kapoor) ma’am, which always gives you confidence that the project will be handled beautifully. We all know the kind of trust and quality her production house brings to every project, so you naturally expect something strong, polished, and impactful. I m playing Mangal and people loving it , I’m enjoying my character a lot, and the team has been fantastic. Also, opening in the top 2 in India on the TRP chart feels very encouraging.”About his current roleHe adds, “I have worked with Balaji earlier as well. I had also auditioned for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi earlier for negative lead, but due to commitments with another project, I could not take it up at that time. Then, in March, I received a call for this spin-off, and I immediately felt excited about it. My character is named Mangal, and he is a strong person with anger issues, but at the same time he deeply cares for his people. He also has natural leadership qualities, which makes the role very interesting and layered for me to perform.”On his popularity in Punjab entertainment, plans in Hindi industryHe says, “I belive in, ‘Be best and best will come to you’. My plans are always good, and I’m hopeful for the best. Television is very close to my heart, and I always want to give my best whenever I get an opportunity. I’m focused and prepared for the journey ahead. As an actor, I’m looking for roles that are more important, layered, and meaningful. I’m especially interested in positive as well as grey-shaded characters, because I enjoy exploring different shades. I I really enjoy playing such characters because they challenge me as an actor.”
