Barbadian singer and businesswoman Rihanna made an appearance at an event in Mumbai, where she launched her cosmetic brand, Fenty Beauty. Clips from the evening quickly circulated online, including one in her second look for the after-party. She was seen saying “shukriya” to fans in a viral video.
In the viral clip, Rihanna briefly stepped out and asked, ‘How do you say thank you in Hindi?’ After getting help, she returned and said, ‘Shukriya!’, prompting a strong response from fans.
While interacting with fans, Rihanna wore a striking monochrome chartreuse (bold olive-green) ensemble. The outfit consists of a flowing mock-neck, long-sleeved top paired with a matching flared, ankle-length leather skirt from the Mugler Fall 2026 collection.
For the after-party, Rihanna wore a black fit-and-flare jersey dress by Alaa. The outfit featured a high turtleneck, full sleeves and V-shaped crocodile leather cut-outs, giving a modern finish to the look.
She paired the dress with multiple diamond rings, statement ear cuffs and a diamond hathphool by Manish Malhotra. The traditional hand ornament added an Indian element to the overall styling.
Another viral video showed Rihanna smiling as she posed with a photographer on the red carpet. Her Mumbai appearance, from the pop-up launch to the after-party and fan interaction, continued to draw attention online.
Rihanna had earlier spoken about Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin’s entry into India. A press statement read, “Bringing Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin to over 50 stores across 16 cities in India means so much to me. It has always been about making sure everyone, everywhere, feels seen, celebrated and confident in their skin. Now, we are making it easier for people to experience our products, and we are just getting started.”
The singer developed her beauty brand in 2017, focusing on inclusivity. She visited India in 2024 when she attended the pre-wedding bash of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
