Vice President of India worships at Tirumala temple | Vijayawada News


Tirupati: Vice President CP Radhakrishnan offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala temple on Tuesday. Endowments minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, along with TTD chairman BR Naidu, EO Muddada Ravichandra, Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary and a group of temple priests, extended the traditional “Isthikapal” welcome to the Vice President of India upon his arrival at the Mahadwaram of the Tirumala temple on Tuesday morning. After worshipping Lord Balaji inside the sanctum, CP Radhakrishnan reached the Ranganayakula Mandapam, where he was extended Srivari Sesha Vastram and the Tirumala temple prasadams, along with a portrait of Lord Venkateswara. The Vice President of India also worshipped at Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple at Tirumala and at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple at Tiruchanoor later in the day.
