In the event the unpredictable Sydney weather decides to literally rain on fashion week’s parade, the team at Carla Zampatti shipped in 900 umbrellas to ensure guests at the much-anticipated Monday evening show would be protected from the elements.
It was all sunshine, though, as Australian Fashion Week formally kicked off on Monday morning at Kirribilli House, at a reception hosted by Jodie Haydon. She wore a floral dress by Romance Was Born, the same design label that made her wedding dress last year.
