Emergency services were called to the A27 Arundel Road at around 8.26pm last night, June 23, following reports of a collision involving a motorcycle.
The road was closed in both directions as crews worked at the scene.
The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old man from Worthing, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
A police investigation has been launched into the circumstances of the crash.
Officers are looking to speak with the driver of a dark blue BMW who they believe may have seen the motorcycle prior to the incident.
