The Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar film, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is redefining the theatrical business at the box office, as it continues to set new benchmarks every passing day. After opening at Rs. 125 crore on Thursday (including paid previews), the action-packed entertainer hit the Rs. 75 crore mark on Friday, taking the two-day total collections to Rs. 200 crore. This business came in the Pre-Eid, and the real explosion came on Eid day.

According to early estimates, Dhurandhar is looking to collect in the range of Rs. 100 crore on Saturday, taking the 3-day total collections to Rs. 300 crore. This is an all-time record and the biggest 3-day total of all time in Hindi by a historic margin. Dhurandhar 2 has also become the first ever film to collect Rs. 80 crore, Rs. 90 crore and Rs. 100 crore on a single day.
The film will be looking to hit another century on Sunday and is targeting an extended opening weekend around the Rs. 400 crore mark, which spells nothing but historic, as these numbers will stand tall for years to come. The bookings for Sunday are also historic, and the film is a movement that would be unstoppable in the weeks to come.
The film is looking to emerge as the #2 Hindi film of all time in one week flat, and then embark on the journey to become #1 of all time by week two. The business is so big, and words fall short to describe the phenomenon. And mind you, this is just the beginning of a new era of theatrical business; the Rs. 100 crore in a single day has come far earlier than anyone expected it to.
