In a video circulating, Harry Styles was performing his fan-favorite whale move, which involves spraying water upwards from his mouth, during the song “As It Was.” The star allegedly choked on the water and fell backward, according to People report on Saturday, June 27, as cited by Antara.
After collapsing, Styles covered his mouth, held his stomach, and appeared to be vomiting. In the video, his stomach can be seen rising and falling as if he was struggling to breathe.
The incident lasted about 17 seconds on stage, after which Harry Styles got back up and waved to the audience.
Styles’ representatives have not yet commented on the incident, but the 32-year-old singer returned to the same venue the following day.
The incident circulated on social media and caused concern for his fans, especially as the UK was experiencing extreme heat, exceeding 36 degrees Celsius.
Harry Styles was scheduled to perform in London until July 4th. Afterward, he would travel to Brazil and Mexico, then to the United States for 30 shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
