Police issue appeal after single vehicle crash in Devon
- A young woman has sustained serious injuries after a crash off the A38 near Buckfastleigh.
- Devon and Cornwall Police were called shortly after 10.15pm on Monday, July 13 after a crash at the top of the slip road for Buckfastleigh and the Dartbridge overbridge.
- As a result of the single vehicle crash, the passenger in the Jaecoo 7, a woman in her 20s from Plymouth, has sustained serious injuries.
- The driver was uninjured, said the force.
- The road was closed for some time whilst an investigation took place. DevonLive reported that traffic management was in place since the early hours of July 14, at around 1.25am.
- The Roads Policing Team have thanked the public for their patience during the closure and are now appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area at the time.
- They ask anyone who may have seen anything, or those with relevant dash-camera footage to call 101 or to visit the force website quoting 50260183703.
