According to a report by the Daily Mail, over 3,000 pieces of documents and media, including rare images, have been accessed from the day of Payne’s passing on October 16, 2024, at the age of 31. These materials, provided by the police, are part of the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

The newly surfaced content paints a vivid, albeit troubling, picture of Payne’s activities at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel. Photographs depict him drinking and interacting with various individuals throughout his stay. One particularly striking image, captured the night before his death, shows the singer swinging around a pole. Further photos indicate a consistent flow of alcohol being delivered to the ‘Familiar’ singer’s room by hotel staff. On the day of his passing, Payne was also reportedly photographed in the hotel lobby meeting two women.

These women later informed police that Payne had sung for them and allegedly inquired if they were interested in using drugs. The report further included images of substances and alcoholic beverages found within his hotel room, corroborating the accounts.

Disturbing video footage from the hotel lobby also formed part of the new evidence, showing hotel staff members assisting a visibly inebriated Payne back to his room after he had allegedly spent his final day consuming alcohol, smoking, and using harmful substances. It was previously reported that a hotel staff member had already contacted 911 expressing concern for the singer’s well-being prior to his fall from his third-floor room. Toxicology reports released online subsequently confirmed the presence of substances including cocaine, crack, ketamine, and alcohol in Payne’s system at the time of his death.

In the aftermath of Payne’s tragic passing, his close friend, Argentine businessman Rogelio "Roger" Nores, found himself under investigation. Accusations of abandonment and negligence arose, suggesting he failed to adequately monitor Payne’s struggles with addiction or intervene in his personal decisions. However, earlier this year, Nores was fully exonerated of all charges. Judges ruled that his relationship with Payne was purely one of friendship, and he bore no inherent responsibility for the singer’s independent actions.

These new details provide a more comprehensive, albeit heartbreaking, understanding of Liam Payne’s final hours. The ongoing investigation seeks to piece together the full narrative of this profound loss, while the public grapples with the raw and difficult truths emerging from the police reports.
