After Dark: Renaissance Hotels Transforms Asia Pacific Evenings with Bold New Sensory Shift

Renaissance Hotels, a prominent brand within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, has announced a major evolution of its signature “Evenings at Renaissance” program across Asia Pacific (excluding China). The brand is set to unveil a refreshed collection of beverage rituals designed to deepen guest connections with local cultures through sensory storytelling and traditional ingredients.

The initiative was developed in collaboration with award-winning Indonesian bartender Demitria “Demi” Dana Paramita, the founder of HATS Bar Jakarta. Drawing inspiration from her Sumatran heritage and extensive expertise in the Southeast Asian bar scene, Paramita has curated a menu that transforms local flavors into creative, contemporary expressions of each hotel’s destination.

Key highlights of the new collection include “Blooming Flower,” an interactive floral punch ritual featuring citrus jelly; “The Night Market,” a vibrant blend of pandan, calamansi, and tamarind designed to capture the energy of local night-time commerce; and “Silk Road,” an aromatic infusion of tea, saffron, and spices that pays homage to historical trade routes.

These new rituals will officially debut during the 2026 “Day of Discovery,” the brand’s annual celebration of cultural curiosity. Taking place throughout October and November, this year’s theme, “Layers of Discovery,” encourages guests to engage with their neighborhoods through Navigator-led tours, artisan workshops, and immersive local encounters.

Cristiano Rinaldi, Chief Lodging Product & Services Officer for Marriott International in Asia Pacific, noted that the initiative is about more than just craft cocktails; it is about facilitating meaningful moments. “The evolution of Evenings at Renaissance brings neighborhood stories to life through the flavors and traditions that shape each destination,” said Rinaldi. “Demi’s ability to reinterpret familiar ingredients through a contemporary lens reflects the spirit of Renaissance Hotels.”

The celebratory events will vary by location, highlighting the unique character of each region. At the Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa, guests can participate in a Punch Bowl Masterclass led by Paramita. Meanwhile, the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel & Convention Centre will host “Malam Lagenda,” a showcase of Malaysian folklore and craftsmanship. In Vietnam, the Renaissance Danang Hoi An Resort & Spa will blend agricultural heritage with eco-printing workshops, and the Renaissance Goa Baga-Arpora Hotel will explore the region’s Indo-Portuguese roots through tile painting and heritage-focused culinary experiences.

Following the Day of Discovery events, these beverage rituals will remain a permanent fixture of the Renaissance experience. Additional offerings, such as the fruit-forward “Tropical Silk” and the restorative “Remedy,” will be featured at participating properties, ensuring that the brand’s commitment to neighborhood-driven discovery continues long after the festival concludes.

This strategic update reinforces Renaissance Hotels’ position as a lifestyle brand dedicated to bridging the gap between global travelers and the local creative spirits of the communities they visit.
