‘Ramayana’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, has been generating buzz for several days. The film trended again on Thursday after its English trailer was released. Around the same time, ‘Gadar’ actress Ameesha Patel hosted an #AskAmy session on X (formerly Twitter), where a fan shared a Ramayana poster imagining her as Sita and Hrithik Roshan as Lord Ram.

A fan wrote on X, “Your Reaction and compliments for Indian biggest movie #Ramayanam is so luvly but we fans wish to HrithikAmeesha Jodi in Ramayana, Ameesha in Sita Role.” To this, Ameesha responded, “If this was Ramayan then baap rey baap .. advance bookings would be on fire from now itself joking I’m sure Ranbir and the rest will rock big time more power to them.”
