Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL), a Defence Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) operating under the Ministry of Defence, has officially released the hall tickets for its upcoming recruitment drive. Candidates who applied for the 1,213 notified positions under advertisement number AVNLCO/HR/2026/06 can now download their documents ahead of the Computer-Based Test (CBT), which is scheduled to take place on September 10, 2026.

The release of the AVNL Admit Card 2026 marks a significant milestone for the applicants who submitted their forms between July 11 and July 31, 2026. These recruitment vacancies cover various AVNL units located in Chennai, Jabalpur, Medak, and Ambernath. It is important to note that these positions are offered on a Fixed-Term Employment (FTE) contract basis and do not constitute permanent government service.

Breakdown of Vacancies and Selection Process

The recruitment drive is divided into two primary categories: the Non-Executive cadre and the Executive cadre.

  • Non-Executive Cadre: This segment features 1,005 vacancies for Junior Technician posts. To be eligible, candidates were required to hold a Class 10 qualification alongside an ITI, NTC, or NAC certification. Junior Technicians will receive a monthly salary of ₹21,000 plus applicable allowances. Beyond the CBT, these candidates are required to undergo a trade or skill test to evaluate their practical proficiency.
  • Executive Cadre: This category comprises 208 vacancies ranging from Junior Manager to Consultant positions. Depending on the specific role, candidates were required to hold degrees such as B.E., B.Tech, MBA, CA, or CS, or a relevant postgraduate degree. Remuneration for these roles varies significantly, reaching up to ₹1,20,000 per month. Those shortlisted after the CBT for these managerial positions will be invited for a personal interview.

Essential Instructions for Candidates

Candidates are advised to download their admit cards immediately from the official AVNL website to ensure all personal and exam-center details are correct. The hall ticket includes critical instructions for the day of the examination, which candidates must adhere to strictly to avoid disqualification.

As the CBT approaches on September 10, applicants are encouraged to verify their reporting time and the documents required for entry into the examination hall. For those who have not yet retrieved their documents, the direct link for the admit card is available through the official portal to ensure a smooth testing experience.
