Investigation Launched After Newborn Baby Found Fatally Stabbed in Sheffield Flat

A harrowing investigation is underway in Sheffield after police confirmed that a newborn baby girl found dead at a residential property had been subjected to multiple stab wounds.

Emergency services were called to a block of flats in Hollywell Heights on Sunday morning following urgent reports concerning the welfare of the infant. Despite the rapid response of paramedics and police, the baby was pronounced dead at the scene.

A forensic post-mortem examination, conducted on Monday, August 31, officially confirmed that the child’s death was the result of stab wounds. The discovery has sent shockwaves through the local community, prompting a major police operation to uncover the circumstances behind the tragedy.
