BIGBANG Confirms Jakarta for 20th Anniversary World Tour

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – VIPs, gear up! K-pop legends BIGBANG have officially unveiled the full schedule for their 20th anniversary world tour, confirming Jakarta as one of the stops in January 2027.

The announcement dropped via BIGBANG’s official Instagram page on Thursday, June 11. The group is scheduled to perform across 18 cities, kicking off at Goyang Stadium over three nights from August 21 to 23, 2026, before heading across the Pacific to electrify American fans in Oakland and New Jersey.

Shifting to Europe, BIGBANG will bring their tour to Paris and London. They will then head back to the Asia-Pacific region in October 2026, hitting Taipei, Singapore, Hanoi, Sydney, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, and Fukuoka.

The group will ring in 2027 in Kuala Lumpur with a January 9 show at TM Stadium Nasional. A week later, they will take the stage in the Indonesian capital at Jakarta International Stadium on January 16, 2027. By the end of February, BIGBANG will wrap up their global journey with back-to-back finale shows in Kaohsiung on February 27 and 28, 2027.

Earlier, G-Dragon, whose real name is Kwon Ji-yong, had previously teased the comeback during his solo fan meeting event, the 2026 G-Dragon Fam Meeting [Fam+Ily : Family : Fam I Love You], back in February. As reported by CNA Lifestyle, he told the crowds, “This year, Big Bang will come back to coincide with our 20th debut anniversary. As a member as well as a fan myself, I am looking forward to it, and so are the other members.”

The hint was later reinforced during BIGBANG’s appearance at Coachella in April, where G-Dragon explicitly revealed that the group would celebrate their 20th anniversary with a world tour kicking off in August.

BIGBANG’s 2026 World Tour will be the group’s first world tour in nine years since the Last Dance Tour in 2017. The upcoming trek will see G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung reunite on stage after the departures of former members Seungri and T.O.P.
