Binnies, working in partnership with WSP,has announced its successful appointment to all three Flood Risk Asset Management (FRAM) Lots under the Environment Agency’s Client Support Framework 2 (CPS2).
This appointment covers the Technical, Environmental and Commercial Assurance Lots, reinforcing the WSP/Binnies partnership’s position as a trusted delivery partner to the Environment Agency and reflecting the breadth of services previously delivered under the Client Support Framework (CSF).
CPS2 is a key national framework supporting the management, maintenance and improvement of flood and coastal risk management assets across England. Through the FRAM lots, the partnership will provide assurance and specialist support across a wide range of activities, including asset inspection and performance assessment, engineering and environmental appraisal, business case and investment support, and commercial and programme assurance. The framework plays a critical role in ensuring that flood defence infrastructure is resilient, sustainable and able to protect communities from increasing climate risks.
As the CPS2 programme moves into its next phase, Binnies says it is focused on transitioning from CPS1 to CPS2 and mobilising teams to support upcoming commissions.
