BREAKING NEWS: Officers appeal for witnesses following fatal collision in Kings Langley


Officers are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a fatal collision in Kings Langley.

The incident happened at around 1am today (Saturday, April 18) in Watford Road, near to Hunton Bridge. A red Triumph motorbike and a red Toyota Prius were involved.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 40s, suffered very serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. Sadly, he died a short time later.

The driver of the Prius has been assisting officers with their enquiries.

Sergeant Nicholas Kane from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit (RPU) said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family at this difficult time.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time and saw the events leading up to the collision to please get in touch. If you have a dash cam fitted, please review your footage as you may have captured something that could assist us with our enquiries.”
