With 4,713 shows across India on its first Tuesday, the movie’s cumulative India net earnings now stand at a substantial ₹32.35 crore.
The film’s India gross collection has reached ₹37.21 crore, complemented by an impressive ₹14.50 crore from the overseas market. This combined performance has propelled ‘DC’ to a worldwide gross collection of ₹51.71 crore.
Language-Wise Breakdowns and Occupancy Trends
The Tamil version of ‘DC’ continues to be the dominant earner, registering the highest occupancy among the three languages at an overall 39.35%. Night shows particularly excelled, hitting 53.15% occupancy. Morning shows recorded 23.92%, afternoon shows 36.92%, and evening shows 34.77%.
The Telugu version followed with an overall occupancy of 24.78%, with night shows leading at 32%. The Hindi version registered an overall occupancy of 14.13%, indicating room for growth in the northern markets.
On Tuesday, the Tamil version alone contributed ₹3.65 crore to the net collections. The Telugu version added ₹1.50 crore, while the Hindi version brought in ₹25 lakhs, underscoring the film’s pan-Indian appeal, albeit with varying degrees of success across regions.
