A North Wales Police spokesperson said at 5.57pm: “Following a road traffic collision, Victoria Road West in Prestatyn is currently closed.
“Please avoid the area, thank you.”
An INRIX traffic update added: “A548 Victoria Road West both ways partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident between Earlswood Avenue and Oldgate Road.”
A police cordon has been set up in the area, and forensic investigators are at the scene.
An air ambulance has landed nearby.
