Ahead of his India visit, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said ‘Hindi Rusi bhai bhai’ is not just a ‘fun slogan’ but it’s a part of Russia’s culture. ‘Indian cinema, Raj Kapoor, recent television series…are immensely popular in Russia,’ he said. ‘No single word can capture the essence of RussiaIndia relations. They’re simply too rich,’ added Lavrov.
