Earlier this year, in June, Sunaina revisited a traumatic health crisis from 2001, when a severe crash diet landed her in the hospital in critical condition. At the time, doctors had warned the family of grave potential consequences, including the risk of paralysis or vision loss. Sunaina famously recalled how Hrithik, then a rising star, spent the entire night at a temple, fervently praying for her recovery.
By sharing these memories, Sunaina has once again highlighted that beyond the glamour of the film industry, the core of their relationship remains anchored in mutual reliance and a profound, lifelong bond.
