Singer-songwriter Anuv Jain is all excited to embark on his first-ever tour across the US and Canada. “These are my first shows in the US and Canada, so it’s going to be a completely new audience and a new feel. I’m honestly super pumped,” he says. “It’s going to be very different from what I’ve done before, and I’m currently rehearsing for it. I’ve never done something like this before, so I’m very excited.”Known for his minimal, intimate style, Jain is now expanding his live experience. “This is the first time I’ll have a full musical setup with live guitar and singing. The interaction is going to be insane! I’ll be able to go into the crowd and meet everyone. Earlier, my music was quite stripped down, but now it feels fuller and more beautiful, something people can really sing their hearts out to.”The tour, however, comes with a personal cost. “I just want to say that I’ll be away from home for almost 30 days, away from my family and my daily routine. So, I hope you all give me lots of love and embrace me completely. Be my family for those 30 days, and I promise to give you the best time possible. I hope you can give me that little feeling of home.”For Anuv, the heart of touring lies in connection. “What I am most looking forward to while performing in different countries is just making memories. I’ve been to many places, but it’s always the memories that stay with you. The set might remain the same, but the interactions can never be replicated. The stories I get to hear from people are so special… sharing my stories and creating memories together is what I am looking forward to the most.”
