Inside India’s big crackdown on D-Company’s global narcotics network

In a major breakthrough against international drug syndicates, Indian agencies have successfully deported Salim Dola, a close aide of Dawood Ibrahim and a key figure in D-Company’s narcotics operations. Picked up from Istanbul, Turkey, Dola was brought to Delhi in a coordinated operation involving global intelligence agencies. Authorities believe Dola was managing a transnational drug network worth over Rs 5000 crore annually. His deportation follows earlier crackdowns on his son and close associates, signalling a sustained effort to dismantle the network. With Dola now in custody, agencies are expected to probe deeper into global trafficking routes, financial links, and money laundering operations tied to the underworld syndicate. The case could potentially expose one of the biggest drug networks linked to D-Company.
