ITDC Honored for Exemplary Hindi Promotion at Prestigious NARAKAS-2 Meeting
New Delhi, August 20, 2026 – The India Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC) has been recognized for its outstanding commitment to promoting and implementing Hindi in its official operations, receiving a commendation shield at the 17th meeting of NARAKAS (Undertakings-2). The significant event, held under the auspices of the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, was chaired by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
The gathering saw prominent figures from various government undertakings converge to discuss and reinforce the propagation of Hindi as an official language. Ms. Anshuli Arya, Secretary, Department of Official Language, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, emphasizing the government’s steadfast dedication to the Rajbhasha policy.

The corporation was presented with a prestigious Commendation Shield, a testament to its consistent initiatives in fostering the use of Hindi.
