Nomura clarified the role’s scope, noting, “Some people might mistakenly think he’s in charge of composition, but it’s actually ‘proofreading.’ He checks to make sure there are no inconsistencies between the current script and past settings.”

The hiring of this lore expert signals the heavy influence of the mobile and browser-based χ games on the upcoming Kingdom Hearts IV.
