India News Live: Activist Sonam Wangchuk has refused to end his indefinite hunger strike despite appeals from political leaders and supporters. This is the 19th day of his indefinite hunger strike. He said that ending the strike without any response from the government would send the wrong message. He urged people to join the Cockroach Janta Party’s proposed Parliament march on July 20, calling it ‘a real lesson in political science and democracy’ for students. Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal is expected to visit Sonam Wangchuk at Jantar Mantar today. Earlier, the AAP chief has extended support to the ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar by Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) against alleged irregularities in NEET and other examinations. The CJP has demanded resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who visited the Jagannath Temple in Puri ahead of the annual Jagannath Rath Yatra on July 16.
An Indian national was allegedly stabbed 15 times inside a shopping mall near Salt Lake City, Utah, by a man who first asked him his religion before attacking him.
