Man Slashed In Hornchurch Park As Police Launch Hunt For E-Bike Rider.

Police are appealing for information after a man was slashed during an attack in Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch, on Saturday afternoon.

Officers were called at 12.57pm on Saturday 11 July following reports of a stabbing in the park.

Emergency services responded immediately and found a man in his 30s suffering from a slash wound to the abdomen.

The victim was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance before being taken to hospital.

Police have confirmed that his injuries have been assessed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.

An investigation is now underway to trace the suspect, who is described as being in his mid-20s, approximately 5ft 6in tall, of slim build, wearing a grey shirt, a black top and a black face covering, and riding a black e-bike.

Detectives are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist the investigation to come forward.
