Rail services in the Stroud area are being cancelled this morning, Monday. after a person was hit by a train in the area.
Air ambulance and other emergency services were called to the scene.
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed.
Disruption is expected until 11.30am.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to the line near Stroud railway station at 7.26am on April 20 to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended and sadly a person as pronounced dead at the scene.
“This incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
