Here’s a look at promotions, hirings and other noteworthy business events in the Memphis area:
The Museums of Science and History (MoSH), the parent organization of the Pink Palace Museum & Mansion and Lichterman Nature Center, welcomed two new hires and promoted two team members:
- Kimberly Taylor has been promoted to Education Senior Manager of which she’ll be the senior leader of the Education Department. She provides strategic direction, program oversight and team leadership to advance MoSH’s educational mission across all museum sites. Taylor earned a Master of Education from Vanderbilt University.
- Keiona Word has been promoted to Community Engagement Specialist. She will continue to support MoSH special events while advancing group sales and additional MoSH community events, programs and partnerships.
- David Branch has been named Special Events Manager. After 20 years of service to the Pink Palace, he returns to the museum to manage onsite daily operations of the Pink Palace Museum & Mansion’s event spaces, ensuring exceptional guest experiences for private event rentals, museum programs and special events after serving as the Operations and Events Manager for the Rudi E. Schiedt School of Music at the University of Memphis and working for the Tennessee Department of Human Services.
- Leshundra Robinson joins the museums as Development Manager in which where she brings more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, donor engagement and organizational development. Robinson will manage donor engagement, grants, corporate partnerships and fundraising events. She has a Master of Public Administration along with certifications in Agile Project Management and Fundraising.
