Salman Khan Extends Helping Hand to Longtime Body Double Following Health Scare
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again demonstrated his legendary generosity, stepping up to support a key member of his professional family during a medical emergency. The actor has been providing personal assistance and ensuring the best care for his longtime body double, Parvez Kazi, who recently underwent a minor heart surgery.
A Swift Response to Medical Distress
The health scare occurred on August 6 when Parvez fell ill at his home. While initial rumors suggested he had suffered a cardiac event while on a film set, his manager, Piyush, was quick to clarify that the incident took place in private. After feeling unwell, Parvez sought medical consultation, leading to a series of tests and a subsequent hospitalization for a minor surgical procedure.
Upon learning of the situation, Salman Khan reportedly intervened immediately. According to reports, the actor took charge of the arrangements to ensure Parvez received prompt and high-quality medical treatment. “Salman sir treats Parvez sir like a younger brother and helped immediately,” Piyush shared, highlighting the deep bond the two have shared over years of working together.
Impact on Upcoming Projects
Parvez has been an integral part of Salman Khan’s filmography for years, lending his likeness to blockbusters such as Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, Bharat, Dabangg 3, and Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.
His sudden illness naturally raised concerns regarding the production of Salman’s upcoming action-packed entertainer, reportedly titled Monster. The film, directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju, is currently in production in Mumbai. With intricate action sequences designed by a Korean stunt team, the absence of his primary body double led to initial discussions about the star performing certain segments himself.
However, sources indicate that Parvez is now recovering well and is expected to return to the sets after a period of rest. To prioritize his health, the production team has revised the shooting schedule and implemented enhanced safety measures for the upcoming action sequences.
A Busy Slate for the Superstar
Monster, which marks Salman Khan’s first collaboration with producer Dil Raju, has generated significant buzz for its scale, including a massive set recreation of an Afghan village at Film City. The film is currently slated for an Eid 2027 release.
Outside of this project, fans remain eager for news regarding the actor’s delayed war drama, Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. Previously announced as Battle of Galwan, the film has faced production delays due to ongoing consultations with the Ministry of Defence regarding its narrative content.
For now, the industry has lauded Salman Khan for his characteristic kindness, proving that for the actor, the loyalty of those who stand by his side—both in front of and behind the camera—remains a top priority.
