Emergency services were alerted after flames were spotted on the first floor of the fitness center around 10:15 pm. Local law enforcement officials were the first to reach the scene and, acting with urgency, ensured that all staff and patrons inside the premises were evacuated to safety before the situation escalated.

"There have been no casualties or reports of significant damage to the structure," a police official confirmed in a statement following the incident. "Our primary concern was the safety of the individuals inside, and we are relieved that the evacuation was carried out successfully before the fire brigade arrived to contain the blaze."
