One UI 9 Beta 7: Bringing Foldable Features to the S26

The Galaxy S26 series is currently at the forefront of the testing phase, with the rollout of One UI 9 beta 7 now underway globally. This latest iteration is a significant feature drop, backporting exclusive functionality from the Galaxy Z Fold 8 to the S26, including:

• My FanCam: Allowing users to capture wide-angle crowd shots and retroactively spotlight specific individuals within the Gallery app.

Samsung has officially confirmed the expansion of its One UI 9 beta testing to include the Galaxy S25 series (S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and S25 FE), as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. These updates are currently deploying across the U.S., U.K., South Korea, and India.

While the S26 FE receives the majority of the One UI 9 AI suite, including document scanning and video stabilization, the 8GB of RAM in the device serves as a hardware ceiling for the most advanced agentic features.
