Spearheaded by an explosive, unbeaten half-century from the immensely talented Dewald Brevis, the Proteas made light work of a 145-run target, chasing it down with nearly seven overs to spare.

Zimbabwe’s Middle-Order Collapse

Electing to bat first, Zimbabwe initially looked poised to post an imposing total. Openers Brian Bennett (34 off 35) and Ben Curran (24 off 12) provided a blistering start, propelling the Chevrons to 76/1 by the halfway mark.

However, the momentum shifted dramatically once the South African spinners found their rhythm.
